As a genealogist and scrapbooks, I would recommend for the encapsulation of large print. The encapsulation is simple and reversible. It is a good article about the process here:

Things to avoid:

Remove acidification (acid) aerosols. Then, the acidic material will be removed, and not the end of time (about ten years), the acid will eat the paper. In addition, the spray is wet and the color of certain documents.

Protection of vinyl and PVC. Choose freely their place of polypropylene or other materials, acid, lignin and pH neutral.

Adhesives. While some acrylic based adhesive for scrapbooking, which are expensive made. Avoid every day adhesives (glue stick, etc.), since the documents fade with time.

Lamination. Rolling cause irreversible damage. Enough said.

Sunlight. Show your poster, with direct sunlight in a place with low humidity and relatively stable temperature.

I hope this helps you make anwise decision to get your impressions. You can always help you in any business Scrapbook (Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Joannes).
